Then it doesn't become profitable to gank in secure space, which it shouldn't be if you're not in a corporation war.

Not for those who have heard me in TS. 
But officially in forums, I am part of MMORPG because I could use less spams in my mailbox. My EvE mailbox is now becoming as bad as my RL mailbox. I rarely check my mailbox unless I have the time to.

I didn't think so. The same applies here. Eve was created a certain way, with certain possibilities. If you don't like it, there's other games that you can play. But please stop insisting that Eve cater/change to your desires because you think you're correct. You're not. The devs have a plan, and they're sticking to it. Maybe they'll fail in the end, but that's their problem, and history seems to say otherwise.
So either adapt to the way the game was designed or go elsewhere for your entertainment. It's really as simple as that.
Guess that if they really want the sellers to serve fried chicken, they will have to roll on the floor, whinning and crying and make a real scene until the sellers will have to go to their nearest supermarket to buy some chickens to fry so they can sell to them and have them leave their premises.
Power of the whinning.

You new players, come into the game for a while. Whine here and there, and finally after CCP gives in, you all start to disappear because the game has seriously been broken. Many times, I feel like EvE is becoming a bit bad these days, which makes me think should I leave EvE or not. Sure, EvE hits 24k with her older players get upset with the constant (look I have just started playing and I want EvE to be ... without even knowing more about the game) whinning. Took me like years to learn about EvE before I make myself known and look stupid on EvE's forum. The inevitable is near, EvE's forum is going downhill SoonÖ.
If you dont like EvE at the time of your argument, it is as easy to fix it with a click of a button by cancelling the account. There are so many games that will suit you. Just find for a right one. Heard Star Wars Galaxies or Star Trek Online are very good.
